There is a relatively recent phenomenon occurring in the birth world as we have access to more advanced technology that can be a double-edged sword: Decision Fatigue.
I am an advocate for choice in many ways but is there such a thing as too many options? Are parents being overwhelmed with testings, ultrasound viewings and fetal monitoring?
Sometimes more information is helpful during pregnancy and birth. But other times it can make a normal, healthy pregnancy unnecessarily stressful.
