On the blog I try to touch on subjects that will help my clients and parents-to-be. A subject that always comes up at prenatals if the sex of the baby is male or unknown is circumcision. As you might imagine, there can be heated (often unsolicited) opinions from well meaning friends and family to add to the mix. I have seen parents debate this calmly and openly and also the opposite...parents seem divided and don't know how to move forward on such an important subject.
It is at this point (if my help is solicited) that I try to guide parents towards accurate, helpful information so they can make the most informed decision that is best for their family. Every family structure is different and deserves to be honored.
